Founder-Operators, Not Career Financiers.
The team running BOA has founded, exited, and operated inside the exact industries we invest in — sports, technology, and the fund architecture that connects them.

A five-time founder with major exits in data infrastructure, cloud hosting, deep tech, and fan engagement, Patrick has made dozens of startup investments across his career. He is YPO Sports & Entertainment Network Chair Emeritus, an entrepreneurial lecturer with ties to MIT, UVA, Trinity, and EPFL, and the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of Fear Is Fuel and The Founder's Creed — the source material for the BOODA Doctrine. He is also an Olympic-level and World Cup rower.

A former Morgan Stanley Fixed Income VP across New York, London, Istanbul, and Latin America, Lauren left Wall Street in 2009 to found I.AM.YOU., a wellness company she scaled across digital, retail, and CPG before a successful 2019 exit. She's the bestselling author of RETOX (Penguin Random House) and has spent the years since building and advising brands at the intersection of business and sport — as Co-Founder & CEO of The Association, Chief of Staff & Chief Brand Officer of global impact group Delphos, a board director at Delphos and HearMe, and a Princeton entrepreneurship lecturer.

Martina spent her career underwriting and structuring institutional-scale private capital deals as a Principal at KKR, one of the world's largest alternative asset managers, after cutting her teeth at Morgan Stanley. At BOA, she puts that same institutional rigor to work — capital formation, fund architecture, and portfolio administration built to the standard LPs expect from firms managing billions, not millions. For BOA's LPs, that experience translates directly into returns: sharper risk pricing, tighter deal structuring, and downside protection most funds our size can't offer.
